Avocado anyone? |
Ingredients
1 Slice White Bread
1/4 Avocado
1 Slice Bacon
1 Slice Cheese
Ingredients |
Methods
1. Lightly fried the bacon.
I prefer mine crispy |
2. Lightly mash the avocado and spread it on the bread. (An quick and easy way to do this is by scoring the avocado within the skin then use the back of a spoon to scrape and spread the avocado)
3. Place the bacon on the top of the avocado spread.
4. Place the cheese on top of the bacon and toast it in the oven till the cheese melt. (I usually set my oven to 180-200 degrees Celsius fan force. Do becareful if you set the temperature too high the the bread will turn into a rock by the time the cheese melt.)
5. Enjoy!!
This quick and easy recipe is ideal if you're hungry but can't be bothered cooking or if you're running late. You can leave the bacon cooking on the pan while proceeding to the avocado spread and by the time you're finished with the spread, the bacon will also be cooked. Do watch out for the heat otherwise you'll burn the bacon. If you're running late then make sure to make this before getting dressed. That way you can finish getting ready while the bread is cooking and by the time you're finished the bread will also be done. I hope you'll give this a try.
